Chagall: Love, War and Exile exhibition
Chagall: Love, War and Exile exhibition

Chagall: Love, War and Exile, organized by Susan Tumarkin Goodman at The Jewish Museum, New York, featured exhibition design by Galia Solomonoff and exhibition graphics by Project Projects. Examining Chagall’s work produced during his exile in Paris, the exhibition provided a fresh look at an underexamined period of his career. Fragments of Chagall’s poetry accompanied the artworks, which were hung in galleries each painted a different shade of blue, creating a new textual lens through which to read the paintings’ development over time.
