Never Odd or Even
Never Odd or Even

This mini-exhibition in book form was conceived as part of the exhibition We would provide complete darkness curated by Sarah Demeuse at the Goethe-Institute Wyoming Building, New York. The book’s content focuses on libraries and the organization of knowledge, with personal and associative contributions by Alejandro Cesarco, Sarah Hromack, Angie Keefer, Christoph Keller, Adam Kleinman, E.R. Langen, and Jorge Méndez Blake. The publication takes an unusual form: a saddle-stitched booklet with an exaggerated “stealth spine.” Inserted among other books on a shelf, as it was installed in the exhibition and in the Goethe-Institute library stacks, the booklet supercedes the spines of its neighboring titles and allows for an expanded visual presence.
