Small Scale, Big Change: New Architectures of Social Engagement
Small Scale, Big Change: New Architectures of Social Engagement

Small Scale, Big Change: New Architectures of Social Engagement was produced to accompany the 2010 MoMA exhibition curated by Andres Lepik. The catalogue includes eleven projects representing a heightened sense of social responsibility within the field of architecture; featured practitioners include Anna Heringer, Francis Kere, Michael Maltzan Architecture, Teddy Cruz, and Urban Think Tank. The book provides a direct representation of each project through a set of photography and plans, with each project separated by an informational divider on uncoated stock. The display typeface, St. Sauveur (by Paris-based Change is Good), conveys a sense of informal, constructed modularity.
